Where is the hash: South of Lamphun

Hash directions: From the airport flyover on the superhighway near Big C drive south towards Lamphun along highway 11. Go Keep going south across the flyover near Lamphun and on to the main Lamphun intersection (traffic light). From there drive 1.3 km to a u-turn and turn right at that point (HHH) – do not make a u-turn, go onto the gravel road. From there follow the HHH signs for 1.5 km to “A” bucket. The distance from the airport flyover near Big C to the u-turn is 25.3 km. Even though this seems far it is only about 20 minutes to drive.

For those of you, who have a GPS, “A” Bucket co-ordinates are: 18°32’8.29″N and 99° 3’31.12″E. The u-turn is at 18°32’44.48″N and 99° 3’30.62″E

Notes:

  • This is the first trial run for hash weekend January 8 to 10, 2011 and of course a warm-up for the last world cup game later that night.
  • The OnOnOn will be at Mokador. A world cup inspired buffet will be served (~ THB 250). After the dinner you can stick around to watch the world cup game @ 1:30 Monday morning with a lot of Dutchies in attendance. You may want to wear something orange to blend in, unless you support Spain, which would be red and yellow.
  • The run will be @ 17:00 and the bus will leave Mokador @ 16:00. (Mokador location: If you stand with your back to Wat Phra Singh you’ll see Mokador easily. Click on the map for a larger version.)
